Boy Scouts
Troop 99 was organized in 1916 and sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran Church in Park Slope. For 87 years, this troop has been associated with quality Scouting. The boys enjoy many activities like camping trips (including Ten Mile River at summer camp), The Klondike Derby, Cook and Tent- O-Ree trips, Halloween and Christmas parties, bowling, fishing, and so much more!
We also have a Cub Scout Pack serving the youngest boys of our parish. The cubs enjoy many activities and trips based upon what they are learning, some of the fun things that they participate in are The Klondike Derby and Pinewood Derby. The cubs participate in the Halloween and Christmas parties with the Boys Scouts as well as a special Family Night Celebration.
