Use a composition notebook to record your notes during the year.  The bound pages will not get lost.  Do not lose or damage your notebook, as you will need to review your notes for tests and quizzes.   You will need a folder for homework assignments, worksheets, quizzes and tests.  You should refer back to these to help you review for tests.

All Students will use a textbook.  Students will put a cover over the book and treat the book respectfully, no writing, drawing or tearing pages.

All tests will be announced and contain multiple choice and written answers.

Quizzes may be given at the end of a unit.  They will be either multiple choice or written answers.

If you miss a test or quiz because of an excused absence, on the day of your return to class, you must schedule a day for you to take the test or quiz.

All  homework assignments must be completed.  Unless noted,  all homework is due the day after it is assigned.   Late homework will not be accepted.    All homework must include your full name and section.  Assignments are to be typed or neatly written in blue or black ink. Homework must be completed on loose leaf paper,  8.5 x11 typing paper or on worksheets (if applicable).

If you are late for class you must submit a late pass without disturbing the rest of the class.   If you do not have one you will be sent down to the office to get one and you will  be responsible for any work you may have missed.

Supply List

As long as all requirements are met, you are scheduled to enter seventh grade on September 6, 2023. A letter should come to you from Mrs. Competello telling you of the first day of school, the time you’re scheduled to be there, and other important information. We are already planning an exciting year for all.

Our first week of school is the most exciting and the most hectic.  One thing I like to take care of right away is housekeeping. We need many supplies to make our classroom comfortable, and you need many supplies to be the best 7th grader you can be.

We have many supplies St. A’s provides, but the extra things that make our students and our classroom run more efficiently are vitally important. Below is a list of supplies of things you need as a student and things our classroom needs to make it more efficient as well. If parents are feeling a little more generous. There are some luxuries as well that our classroom  needs. That is listed below on our “Wish List”. Our class is offering an incentive to complete the supply list. If you get all items on the list for the student and the classroom, (not the wish list) you will be given a bonus. That bonus comes in the form of five extra points for the subject of your choice. So, when you’re being checked in for all of the items that you brought in, you must tell the teacher what subject you would like to add the extra points, for the first trimester.  The points are only added if all items are gotten.
