Hello! My name is Mrs. Moya and I will be your child’s teacher for this upcoming school year. I cannot wait to help your child learn and blossom. Pre-K B will also have Mrs. Rosa who is also very excited to meet you all!
About Pre-K B's Teachers
I’m Mrs. Moya and this will be my 6th year teaching Pre-K at St. Athanasius Academy! I have been in the teaching field since 2013. I graduated from Brooklyn College with a Master’s Degree in Education over six years ago. Before teaching at St. Athanasius Academy I was an Assistant Director of a school in the city. In my classroom I love to teach children how to be independent, social, courageous, and learn while having fun! Fun Facts About Me: I love animals, traveling, reading, exercising, spending time with my nephew, all things Halloween (especially Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas), all things Christmas, and Harry Potter! Unlike many teachers I do not like coffee (water is my favorite) and I am not a big fan of chocolate.
¡Soy la Sra. Moya y este será mi 6th año enseñando Pre-K en St. Athanasius Academy! He estado en el campo de la enseñanza desde 2013. Me gradué de Brooklyn College con una Maestría en Educación hace más de seis años. Antes de enseñar en St. Athanasius Academy, fui subdirector de una escuela en la ciudad. ¡En mi salón de clases me encanta enseñar a los niños cómo ser independientes, sociales, valientes y aprender mientras se divierten! Datos divertidos sobre mí: Me encantan los animales, viajar, leer, hacer ejercicio, pasar tiempo con mi sobrino, todo lo relacionado con Halloween (especialmente Hocus Pocus y The Nightmare Before Christmas), todo lo relacionado con la Navidad y Harry Potter. A diferencia de muchos profesores, a mí no me gusta el café (el agua es mi favorito) y no soy muy fan del chocolate.
