Dear First Grade Families,
As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for sharing your amazing children with me. It has truly been a joy and a privilege to watch them learn, grow, and shine throughout the year.
When we began this journey together, many students were taking their first steps toward becoming confident readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and problem-solvers. Over the months, I have seen tremendous growth in each child. They have worked hard, shown kindness to one another, asked thoughtful questions, and faced challenges with courage and determination.
To my students: I am so proud of all that you have accomplished this year! You learned new skills, made new friends, explored exciting topics, and showed what it means to be a caring member of our classroom family. Remember that learning never stops. Continue to read books, ask questions, explore the world around you, and always believe in yourself. Each of you has special gifts and talents, and I cannot wait to see all the wonderful things you will do in the future.
To our parents and families: Thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and support throughout the year. Your involvement has made a tremendous difference in your child's success. Whether helping with homework, reading together, attending school events, or simply encouraging your child each day, you have played an important role in making this year a success.
As summer begins, I encourage everyone to make time for reading, exploring nature, creating memories, and enjoying time together. Summer is a wonderful opportunity for children to continue learning through everyday experiences while also having fun.
Although it is difficult to say goodbye, I know your children are ready for the exciting adventures that await them next year. They leave first grade with stronger minds, bigger hearts, and the confidence to continue growing and learning.
Thank you again for an unforgettable year filled with laughter, learning, friendship, and countless special memories. I will always treasure the time we shared.
Wishing you and your family a safe, happy, and relaxing summer!
With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes,
Ms. Regina Bhagwandeen
