Welcome to Our Classroom!
My name is Mrs. Martocci, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year, alongside my teacher assistant, Mrs. Jacey.
In our classroom, we follow the Creative Curriculum, which encourages hands-on learning, exploration, and discovery. Each month, our dramatic play area is transformed into a new environment where students can use their imaginations, engage in meaningful play, and immerse themselves in our monthly theme.
We are committed to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. We look forward to helping your child grow socially, emotionally, and academically throughout the year.
We are excited for all the learning, fun, and memorable experiences ahead. It's going to be an amazing year!
ABOUT YOUR TEACHERS
My name is Mrs. Maria Martocci, and I am excited to welcome you and be your child's teacher this year! I have been a teacher at St. Athanasius for the past 15 years. St. Athanasius holds a special place in my heart because both my children and I are proud alumni of the school. I truly love what I do and enjoy teaching young minds in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and going for long walks—especially by the water.
I can't wait to meet you and your child in September and begin a wonderful year of learning together!
¡Mi nombre es la Sra. Maria Martocci y me entusiasma darles la bienvenida y ser la maestra de su hijo(a) este año!
He sido maestra en St. Athanasius durante los últimos 15 años. St. Athanasius ocupa un lugar muy especial en mi corazón porque tanto mis hijos como yo somos orgullosos exalumnos de esta escuela. Realmente amo lo que hago y disfruto enseñar a las mentes jóvenes de maneras divertidas, dinámicas y significativas.
Fuera de la escuela, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar y dar largos paseos, especialmente junto al agua.
¡Estoy deseando conocerlos a usted y a su hijo(a) en septiembre y comenzar juntos un maravilloso año de aprendizaje!

-A change of clothes placed in a ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name (pants, shirt, underwear, socks, and sneakers).
